Dr. Trang N. Salzberg, a native of Vietnam, came to the United States after the war at the age of nine and grew up in Springfield, Virginia. Following her Periodontics training in 2005, Dr. Salzberg practiced at Konikoff Salzberg Periodontics in Virginia Beach for 14 years.

 

After nearly 30 years of studying and practicing in various parts of Virginia, Dr. Salzberg is bringing her experience in Periodontology back to Northern Virginia, where her love for learning all began.

Dr. Salzberg focuses on all aspects of periodontics. Her specialties include:

• surgical and non-surgical periodontal therapies

• periodontal plastic surgery

• guided tissue and bone regeneration

• tooth extractions

• bone grafting

• sinus augmentation

• immediate implant placement

• full mouth reconstruction.

Dr. Salzberg was published in the Journal of Periodontology for her work on treating patients with aggressive periodontitis.

 

She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Virginia Society of Periodontists, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Association, and Academy of Southern Periodontology.  She is also an Adjunct Faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentisty in the Department of Periodontology.

 

In her spare time, Dr. Salzberg enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, playing with her dog, Kodi, reading, exercising, and volunteering in the community.
